The street is where stories happen. Walk into the street and it is filled with opportunities to capture these stories. Black and white film and digital have been the go-to-media for street photographers. Maybe because it helps us focus and not let colors distract us from the usually busy street scene. Or maybe it is to convey the retro feeling of analogue, emphasizing “slow and imperfect” as a reminder that real life isn’t perfect and the beauty is in the slowness of our daily grind.
